- Pregnant women may participate in PRT
- Low resistance (40-60% of estimated 1RM)
- High repetition sets (12-15 reps)
- Avoid;
– supine position after 12-14 weeks
– Valsalva manoeuvre
- Return to exercise postpartum can occur approx 4-6 weeks after natural birth, longer following caesarean section
